Handcarved Sgraffito Bud Vase

The little sibling to the large handcarved Sgraffito Vase, this bud vase is hand-carved with the same intricate sgraffito technique, each band of pattern carefully scratched through layers of glaze to reveal the warm clay beneath. Perfect for a single stem, a small bundle of dried flowers, or just as a standalone piece of functional art on your shelf.

Finished in speckled white with rich earthy tan and deep black bands, each one is completely unique. Thrown on the potter's wheel from speckled stoneware clay and 100% handmade. Hand-washing recommended.

The beauty of handmade means that no two pieces are exactly alike. Each of my pieces are completely handmade by me, meaning there may be slight variations in the shape, size, color, and finish of the items from what you see in the photographs. I strive to represent each piece as accurately as possible. These variations are very small and may not be noticeable–if they are though, please know that they are not flaws, but are part of what makes each item unique.
