Tidal Pool Rounded Mug

Where the Low Tide Mug is soft and sandy, this one is all ocean. A vivid teal and aqua glaze washes over the body of this rounded mug, pooling and dripping down to meet the speckled sandy base below. Every one comes out of the kiln a little different — the glaze moves on its own in the heat and you never quite know what you'll get, which is part of what makes each piece special.

Thrown on the potter's wheel from stoneware clay and 100% handmade. Microwave and dishwasher safe, though hand-washing is always recommended to keep it looking its best. Comfortable rounded shape fits perfectly in both hands.

The beauty of handmade means that no two pieces are exactly alike. Each of my pieces are completely handmade by me, meaning there may be slight variations in the shape, size, color, and finish of the items from what you see in the photographs. I strive to represent each piece as accurately as possible. These variations are very small and may not be noticeable–if they are though, please know that they are not flaws, but are part of what makes each item unique.
